SERRANO RETURNS TO ACTION THIS SATURDAY

This Saturday Star Boxing’s welterweight prospect Raymond “Tito” Serrano (10-0, 6KO) will look to add another impressive win to his resume as he climbs the welterweight ranks when he takes on forty seven fight veteran Anthony Bowman as one of the co-feature bouts of the evening on the “Boxing’s Future Champions III” card at Fitzgerald’s Casino & Hotel in Tunica, Mississippi. The bout is scheduled for six rounds.
The 20-year-old Philadelphian based Serrano is an exciting and very talented young prospect. He has a relentless style, and possesses knockout power in both hands. He last saw action on August 1st, stopping veteran Jessie Davis with a barrage of punches in the third round of their scheduled six rounder.
“Raymond keeps getting better and keeps showing vast improvement each time he steps in the ring,” stated Joe DeGuardia, CEO and founder of Star Boxing. “He had a good year in 2009, including an impressive showing on ESPN2’s “Friday Night Fights” and we are anticipating an even bigger one in 2010.”
The Serrano vs. Bowman bout is promoted by Joe DeGuardia’s Star Boxing, in association with Prize Fight Boxing.
