The first committee that began activities, even before the opening of the Convention, which will take place on Monday, was the Ratings one, having fully met since last Friday, led by Frank Quill of Australia.

In actual fact, the Ratings Committee meeting was the first part of this 47th World Boxing Council Convention, second one that is held in South Korea.

10 divisions were worked on by the group, and it has been announced that the monthly ratings will be finished this afternoon to be studied and if it is the case, approved to be published publicly next week when the convention works will have advanced and when the title fights, -mandatory and voluntary- in all the divisions will have been designated.

The characteristic activity of these Conventions can already be seen at the site hotel, which is located at one of the beaches of this beautiful island of Jeju, to the South of the Korean peninsula. The arrival of the delegates, commissioners, officials, promoters and attendants in general from several parts of the world is something that has become usual as it always happens.

Tomorrow everybody will gather for a welcome toast and the Convention will be officially inaugurated on Monday at 10:00 a.m., act that will be attended by local authorities who will join the WBC President, Jose Sulaiman Chagnon, and the Board of Governors of our organization which is considered the most important in the world of boxing.
