“BOXEO THOMPSON” RETURNS TOMORROW,
FRIDAY, OCTOBER 23 ON FOX SPORTS EN ESPAÑOL

Orange, Calif. (October 22) – Southern California is no stranger to earthquakes and its residents surely felt the rumbling when Ontario’s Jonathon Arrellano squared off in the ring against Cathedral City’s Adrian Aleman on Thompson Boxing Promotions “New Blood VI” card that took place at Doubletree Hotel, Ontario earlier this month.

As the co-main event feature, Arrellano fought a hard 4-round bantamweight battle in which he successfully kept his unblemished record intact while demonstrating his skill and potential over the more experienced Adrian Aleman. The crowd pleasing Arrellano improved his record to (4-0, 1 KO).

Not to be out done, Juan Carlos Burgos, #1 WBC featherweight, solidified his presence as a contender for championship by dismantling veteran Yogli Herrera in the main event of the evening.  Burgos stopped Herrera in the 6th round by way of TKO.

Burgos showcased his champion lineage by displaying his arsenal against the tough Colombian challenger.  Overloaded by Burgos’ hooks to the body Herrera survived until round 6.  Burgos improves his record to a flawless (23-0, 16 KOs).

This can’t miss action will replay on Fox Sports en Español on this Friday’s, October 23rd edition of Boxeo Thompson.

The exciting action will air at 10:00pm ET/7:00pm PT.
