The weigh-in for the September 12 edition of American Metal & Iron Fight Night at the Tank: The Next Chapter will be held this Friday, September 11 at the Bamboo Lounge located in the Clarion Hotel in San Jose. Fighters will begin stepping on the scales at 6 p.m. All fighters and special guest Ronald “Winky” Wright will be on hand for the weigh-ins.

Former undisputed light middleweight world champion Ronald “Winky” Wright (50-5-1, 25 KO’s) will make a special guest appearance at the next American Metal & Iron Fight Night at the Tank event to be held at HP Pavilion at San Jose on Saturday, September 12 at 7:30 p.m. Wright will be on hand to greet fans, sign autographs and address season-ticket holders in an exclusive 30-minute question-and-answer session.
“Winky” Wright is a two-time world boxing champion at 154 pounds. He held the WBO World Title from May, 1996, to August, 1998. He captured the IBF world title in October, 2001.Wright became the division’s first undisputed world champion in 29 years and the first-ever to hold all three major world titles – the WBC / WBA / IBF championships – when he won a 12-round unanimous decision over WBC/WBA super welterweight champion “Sugar” Shane Mosley. In his career, Winky has fought some of the best in the 154-pound division and scored several impressive wins. In addition to Mosley, Winky has fought former world champions Fernando Vargas, Tito Trinidad, Jermaine Taylor, and Bernard Hopkins.
