Mario Cabrera jr: Have you sparred with any of the top Welterweights or ranked contenders?
James Stevenson: I sparred with (former 140 lb champion) Demarcus “Chop Chop” Corley.
Mario Cabrera jr: Who was your favorite boxer growing up that you followed?
James Stevenson: Mike Tyson,Muhammad Ali
Mario Cabrera jr: Finally is there anything else you would like to say?
James Stevenson: I will ”Keep’em Sleepin”. I am going to do what I have to do put my city on the map. I love boxing and won’t stop until I reach the top!!
Preeminent Junior Middleweight prospect James “Keep Em’ Sleepin” Stevenson 8-0 (8 KO’s) will look to continue his impressive streak of knockouts versus durable veteran Manuel Guzman 6-6 (2 KO’s) over eight rounds. The impressive Stevenson scored a jaw dropping stoppage over unbeaten Dwayne Shelton in his previous bout and will have to be at his best as the iron chinned Guzman of Lancaster, PA has seen the final bell in all of his losses. The two will battle for Stevenson’s East Coast title and the $500 knockout bonus will also be intact….Good luck James!! ..Keep Em’ Sleepin”
