Las Vegas, NV (USA) – Ever wondered what goes on inside the locker rooms, down the hallways or next to the Octagon™ at UFC events? Fight fans will now have the chance to find out in real time. At UFC 98: EVANS vs. MACHIDA May 23rd*, fans will get free access Beyond The Octagon™ Powered by BK®, through four live multi-streams on UFC.com.
Launching at 8 p.m. EDT, two hours before the UFC 98 pay-per-view telecast goes live, four cameras installed backstage at MGM Grand Garden Arena will stream action from four hot spots:
- Locker room of Rashad “Suga” Evans, UFC Light Heavyweight Champion
- Locker room of Lyoto “The Dragon” Machida, number one light heavyweight contender
- Backstage hallway where fighters start their “Walk to the Octagon”
- Octagon-side with Dana White, UFC president and executive producer of the event
Beyond The Octagon™ Powered by BK®, also gives viewers the chance to be executive producer, with the option to choose your screen and enlarge each camera.
Discover what your favorite fighter does hours before the fight begins, take in the precise moment before he exits the locker room, and see as he lines up with his corner men for the Walk to the Octagon. Switch cameras and zoom angles to watch the group enter the arena, shift views to see Dana’s reaction as they head down the aisle, music pumping, to find out who is the greatest light heavyweight in the world. Now fans all over the globe have a virtual backstage credential, granting access to the emotions and real-time moments of UFC.
